The Polish Liquefied Gas Organization is an organization of employers engaged in the purchase, distribution, distribution of liquefied gas and the production and marketing of equipment used for its applications, the main purpose of which is to protect the rights and represent the interests of associated members and the industry towards authorities and state administration bodies, local government bodies, workers' trade unions and other organizations.

Our experiences

28 years of tradition

POGP was founded in 1996 and since then has been actively involved in the life of the fuel industry. Members of the Organization are production and trade units, engaged in the purchase, distribution and distribution of LPG, as well as the production and marketing of equipment used for its transportation, storage and operation. Since February 2020, the object of POGP's analytical activity is also liquefied natural gas LNG.

POGP is a member of the World Liquefied Gas Organization (WLPGA) and Liquid Gas Europe.

Objectives of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization

  • Commitment to the research and development of new applications of liquefied gas, including renewable sources.
  • Actions to ensure the safety of products and services supported by technical, commercial and environmental expertise.
  • Encouraging free enterprise, competition in a fair and ethical manner within the framework of applicable law.
  • Action to respect the rights of workers, provide them with dignified and safe working conditions.
  • Education in the field of liquefied gas LPG as an economical and ecological fuel, friendly to man and the environment.
  • Presenting the organisational and technical problems of the industry to the institutions responsible for liquefied gas infrastructure and, above all, involvement in creating optimal technical and legal solutions for the development of applications of liquefied gas as an ecologically clean energy carrier.
  • Promoting responsible and sustainable employers' engagement in the liquefied gas business, taking into account issues related to safety, health and environmental protection.
