POGP Presidium for the 2023-26 Term

On 5 December 2023 the Plenary Meeting of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization was held, closing the 2020-2023 term. During the meeting POGP members elected a 10-member Presidium for the next three-year term.
President of the Organization was elected Ewa Gawryś-Osińska, who has held this role since November 2022. Vice-President became Jarek Król, newly elected to the Presidium for the 2023-2026 term. Treasurer will remain Ireneusz Popiół, who will hold this office for the fourth time.
The new faces on the POGP Presidium are Jarek Król, Piotr Karczewski and Katarzyna Rutkowska, representing the autogas segment.
The full composition of the Presidium of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization is now as follows:
- Ewa Gawryś-Osińska - President,
- Jarek Król - Vice-President,
- Ireneusz Popiół - Treasurer,
- Michał Faliszewski,
- Piotr Janic,
- Piotr Karczewski,
- Robert Kościelny,
- Cezary Kwella,
- Adam Lewandowski,
- Katarzyna Rutkowska.
A number of challenges lie ahead of the POGP Presidium in the coming term. They include cooperation with Liquid Gas Europe on hosting the European Liquid Gas Congress in Poland in 2025, cooperation with public administration on the transposition of the directives in the Fit for 55 package, and building awareness of the environmental benefits of LPG and bioLPG in converting heat sources from coal to gas and transport from traditional fuels to gaseous fuels.
