The EU Fit for 55 package

Yesterday (14 July 2021) the EU presented the Fit for 55 package of legislative changes.
The package concerns legislative changes in the area of energy and climate policy. The goal is for the member states to achieve a 55% reduction in emissions compared with 1990. The many proposals include an amendment to the European Tax Directive (ETD).
