Webinar “The Future of the LPG Market…”

On 20 April the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization is holding an open online debate titled The Future of the LPG Market in the Context of Fit for 55 and the Invasion of Ukraine. The webinar will accompany the presentation of the POGP Annual Report for 2021. It will be a unique opportunity to see the broad picture of the environment around the liquefied gas sector at a time of the great changes Europe is facing.
We invite you to take part in the presentation of the Annual Report of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization (POGP) and in the accompanying online debate titled The Future of the LPG Market in the Context of Fit for 55 and the Consequences of the Invasion of Ukraine.
The anniversary Report, summarizing POGP's 25th year, was created in dramatic circumstances. 2021 was rich in events important for the liquefied gas market – from the work on implementing the Central Register of Excise Entities and the electronic Delivery Document, through the galloping rise in prices on energy commodity markets that lay behind the adoption of the Anti-Inflation Shield, to the presentation in two tranches of the draft regulations making up the Fit for 55 package and the change in the strategy of the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization. All these events were nevertheless overshadowed by those of 24 February 2022, which set in motion a process that will profoundly change the energy policy of the European Union and the Polish liquefied gas market.
The latest POGP Annual Report and the debate accompanying it are intended to outline as broadly as possible the context of the changes expected in the years ahead, the changes about which the Polish Liquefied Gas Organization informs you in its monthly newsletters.
